King Country Hunt was established in 1976 and today sports a Royal Blue collar on a black coat as their colours. Boundaries are a line from 1.6km north of Marokopa to Te Kawa, Te Kawa to Mt Tongariro, to Ohakune, to Mokau on the West Coast and Te Kuiti.
